ORYAT was established as a result of the increase in the number of farmers adopting Organic Farming Principles following the Organic Farming Training organised by UNDP-PFF in 2005.


ORYAT is a civil society organization having approximately 90 members. Activities of ORYAT can be listed as follows:

 

  •  Organizing seminars, training sessions, and land visits together with other institutions
  • Finding solutions to marketing and production problems faced by farmers and supporting them


ORYAT is working in co-operation with different institutions in Cyprus in order to spread Organic Farming.
